Effective 21 March, 2018, Air Seychelles will increase capacity on its Seychelles-Johannesburg-Seychelles route on Wednesdays with the introduction of an A330 aircraft.
The A330 aircraft offers 18 Business Class seats and 236 seats in Economy Class. Business Class guests can sit back and relax in fully-flat reclining seats with an 82 –inch seat pitch while Economy Class guests can enjoy comfortable seating with a seat pitch of 32 inches.
Guests can also send e-mails, check Facebook and surf the Internet at 20,000 feet with affordable plans starting at USD 2.95 (10MB) with HM Connect.
Flights depart Seychelles at 09h30 on Wednesdays, arriving in Johannesburg at 12h55. The return leg departs Johannesburg at 14h15, arriving in Seychelles at 21h10.
Earlier this week the airline also announced a new strategic transformation plan aimed at ensuring the long-term profitability and sustainability for the airline, which includes the suspension of its Paris and Madagascar services.
In a statement released by the airline, it said the plan, aimed at responding to rapidly increasing competition in the air travel sector, has been approved by Air Seychelles’ Supervisory Board and both shareholders, the Government of the Republic of Seychelles and Etihad Airways.
