CemAir announced yesterday (IATA code 5Z) that the South African Civil Aviation Association (SACAA) issued the airline with an Air Operator Certificate Prohibition Order which lapses at 13h30 on Thursday 13 December 2018.

The decision was made by the regulator during an annual permit renewal audit.

CemAir has made representation to the SACAA regarding the allegations. The airline is currently awaiting their feedback.

In the interim the airline is making alternate arrangements for passengers where possible. We are working closely with other carriers to accommodate our passengers with minimum inconvenience. Alternately all passengers can apply for a full refund.

Please contact our call centre on 0861 236 247 for further information. Understandably the airline is experiencing high call volumes and appreciate your patience during this time.

CemAir remains committed to serving our passengers and regrets the inconvenience caused by the interruption of service.
