Desert and Delta Safaris introduce helicopter trips in the Delta

1 min read

Desert and Delta Safaris has announced that a helicopter is now permanently based in the Camp Okavango and Xugana Island Lodge concession. Having a helicopter in camp means scenic flights will be more affordable for a memorable addition to travellers’ safari in Botswana.

Desert and Delta Safaris’ partners at Helicopter Horizons will remove the doors providing uninterrupted views and close up angles of the delta and its wildlife. A scenic flight is not just a must for keen photographers but an exciting opportunity to witness the remarkable Okavango Delta from above.

Tour operators are recommended to pre-book this for their guests to avoid disappointment. Visitors may add helicopter scenic flights to any existing or new bookings for either Camp Okavango or Xugana Island Lodge.

NETT rates available on request.
