Lufthansa Group’s low-cost subsidiary, Eurowings is to launch flights between Cologne and Cape Town, effective November 5.
Initially and up to 19 March, 2018, flights are scheduled to operate on Sundays, departing Cologne at 23h20, arriving in Cape Town at 12h30 the following day. The return service will depart Cape Town at 18h45 on Mondays, arriving in Cologne at 05h50 the following day.
From 25 March to April 29, flights will depart Cologne at 23h20, arriving in Cape Town at 11h30. The return service will depart Cape Town at 17h45, arriving in Cologne at 05h50.
The new route will be operated by an Airbus A330-200 with 21 seats in Premium Economy, 46 in Economy+ and 243 in Economy.
The announcement of the new Cape Town service, follows the launch of flights between Cologne and Windhoek in July 2017.
