British Airways, operated by Comair, has added two additional flights between Johannesburg’s OR Tambo International Airport and Port Elizabeth, in South Africa’s Eastern Cape.

According to the airline’s Brand Communications Manager, Luane Lavery, the new flights are due to increased passenger demand.

“The new flights depart from OR Tambo International Airport at 13h30 and 15h30 daily except for Saturdays. They will depart from Port Elizabeth to ORTIA at 15h44 and 17h10.

“These flights will include the signature British Airways premium service and offerings that will give travellers access to two premium cabins, excellent service and an opportunity to make use of the British Airways Executive Club frequent flyer programme.”

She adds, “We believe that the increased frequency of slights will support the economic and tourism growth in one of the most beautiful and economically important parts of our country. We are thrilled to be able to address the need for business and leisure customers, by making it easier to fly between Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.”
