Kgalagadi Lodge, situated between the red sand dunes of the Kalahari, now offers its travellers camel rides.

The guided camel rides can be enjoyed by five people and children younger than 6 has to be accompanied by an adult.Rides take place from 16h00 to 18h00 daily.

The lodge is situated 250 kilometres from Upington Airport, and only five kilometres from the popular Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, this family-owned and operated lodge offers the perfect romantic getaway for adventure-seeking travellers. This desert haven sets the scene for romance and offers a weekend that you and your loved ones will never forget. Think perfect Kalahari sunsets and stargazing at night.

The lodge also offers a 50-seater restaurant offering authentic, South African cuisine, a fully-stocked grocery shop and bakery. There are 32 chalets,from 3-star family, luxury, standard and business chalets, as well as 4-star campsites, each with its own ablution block. The lodge also offers a swimming pool and a fire pit.
