Newmark to expand new Africa collection

Newmark hotels, reserves and lodges is expanding in Africa, with a new office in Lusaka and plans to add more independent hotels in Zambia to its new Kaufela Collection. The company is to add a new property in Zanzibar and a 170-room business hotel in Lusaka.

The Kaufela Collection has signed three independent lodges in Zambia with 100 rooms. It plans to add 400 more rooms before the end of this year.

Hans Heuer, Director for Africa, said other new territories were being considered.
