In a statement Mara Bushtops said that one of the many advantages of being located in a private conservancy is being able to run walking safaris directly from camp. “All you need is good walking shoes and a sense of adventure.”

Walking safaris are offered with a qualified, armed ranger, naturalist and Masai spotter who lead the way (followed by a vehicle where accessible) bringing visitors to within a safe distance of a wide variety of game. En-route guests will be educated on the tracks, markings, droppings and plant life in the surrounds, with insights into how nature’s bounty provides food, medicine and resources for tribal life.

Guests can choose from six walks ranging from a one hour “easy trail” to a six hour “warriors journey”. Walking safaris can be pre-booked or booked on site. All our walks are complimentary.
