From 19 October 2017 to 31 April 2018, the Apartheid Museum in Johannesburg will host a new six-month exhibit through a collaboration between Brand South Africa and the United Nations (UN).

The audio-visual exhibit will aim to highlight the contribution the UN made to South Africa’s struggle for freedom to locals and visitors, but will also travel to other countries around the world.

According to Brand South Africa GM, Mpumi Mabuza, the exhibition presents an opportunity for the marketing agency to be a part of preserving the memory of Apartheid for historical purposes.

“It is, imperative that South Africans are reminded that the country’s freedom is attributed to many other African nations whose role in supporting South Africa through its dark days led towards its found liberation; we look forward to the exhibition and call on all citizens to come share and engage,” said Mabuza.
