AWA plans international expansion

Africa World Airlines (AWA) is planning to spread its wings internationally, looking to launch flights between Accra and London and Accra and Sao Paulo, Brazil.

According to Togbe Afede XIV, the Co-Chairman of the AWA made the announcement at the launch of AWA’s maiden service between Accra and Monrovia adding that the airline would soon take delivery of three Boeing767 aircraft to support its expansion drive.

‘Subsequently we look forward to receiving three Boeing 767 that will enable us to connect Africa to London, New York, Sao Paulo, and Istanbul.We have come to stay and we want to partner with Liberia,” said Afede.
