Serengeti Balloon Safaris has announced that it will introduce flights in Ruaha National Park, Tanzania, effective 15 June, 2018.
Known to be Tanzania’s largest national park, Ruaha National Park, covers some 20,000 sq km and lies in the southern part of this premium safari destination and is far removed from the often busy tourist circuits of northern Tanzania. The park is known for its baobab-decorated landscape and excellent game viewing by vehicle, and soon for its hot-air balloon safaris.
“This is a new and exciting departure for Serengeti Balloon Safaris and our customers. We recently conducted test-flights in Ruaha and they were an unmitigated success; very different flying conditions to Serengeti, fantastic game and gorgeous scenery, we can’t wait to get started,” the operator said in a statement.
