Hilton has announced it signed a management agreement with TAFBB Business PLC to open DoubleTree by Hilton Addis Ababa Airport.

The 106-room hotel will be located just one kilometer from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, the base for Ethiopian Airlines. The hotel will be well placed for guests who want to stay in close proximity to the airport, and will offer an airport shuttle service.

“As the capital of Ethiopia and the location of the African Union’s headquarters, Addis Ababa is an important East African hub. Hilton has an existing hotel in the city centre, and we are now pleased to have signed this hotel near the international airport,” says Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president of development, Europe, Middle East & Africa, Hilton.
