After a 20-year absence, Air France has returned to Seychelles through its subsidiary airline, Joon, with the launch of scheduled flights to Mahé earlier this month.

The airline will serve the route with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and customers on the inaugural flight were able to discover the new cabin interior on Joon’s A340 with three new cabins.

In the business cabin the seats turns into a 2 metre-long seat-bed within a fixed shell, for additional privacy. Passengers can take advantage of the airline’s on-board entertainment offer, with over 1,200 hours of programmes, on a 15.6-inch HD touch screen with noise-reducing headphones.

The Premium Economy cabin offers passengers a brand new seat with optimum comfort, with a seat recline of 133°, 99-centimetre legroom and a 49-centimetre wide seat. Passengers are treated to a comfort kit upon boarding as well as a welcome drink. At mealtimes, starters and desserts are inspired by those offered in the Business cabin!

In the Economy cabin, passengers have 78 centimetres of legroom and can recline their seats to 118°. It is equipped with a latest-generation touch screen and a USB plug to charge mobile devices during the flight. A full meal is also offered.
