New KZN travel app launched

Tourism KwaZulu-Natal has launched its new KZN Travel Guide, offering visitors access to a range of offerings by simply using their smart devices.

The app’s capabilities include allowing visitors to search for amongst others activities, restaurants and eateries as well as accommodation.

Commenting on the launch of the app, acting CEO of Tourism KwaZulu-Natal (TKZN), Phindile Makwakwa, said the app encouraged locals and visitors to explore the province.

“We applaud the advancements and critical role digital transformation has played in growing an inclusive and sustainable tourism economy in our province.

“We are ready for these changes and look to the future of travel.”

Keith Matthews of TKZN said businesses and event promoters were welcome to showcase their tourism offerings and upcoming events.

The app is available for download on Google Play and iStore. The app is free.
