European river cruise specialist, CroisiEurope, will launch its first Africa programme this coming December.

Due to commence on 5 December, the all-inclusive nine-day safari cruise will be on a new ship, the RV African Dream, with the first cruise running over four-days sailing along the Chobe and Zambezi rivers after which guests will disembark for a stay at a luxury lodge before ending their journey by visiting the Victoria Falls. The cruise will also include mini safaris in jeeps and smaller boats, led by expert local guides, and a visit to a nearby village.

RV Africa holds a maximum capacity of 32 passengers in eight suites of which six feature French balconies and the remaining two offer larger terraces. Guests can also make use of a lounge bar, panoramic restaurant, small pool and a rooftop terrace.

Guests will also be able to choose meal times out of three available options.Unlike most CroisiEurope cruises, where there is no choice at mealtimes, there will be a choice of three options.

Also available to guests, is a optional three-day pre-cruise programme in Cape Town, with a visit to Robben Island, a wine estate and the Cape of Good Hope.

A second ship, RV African Dream II, is due to be launched at the end of 2018. It will operate a cruise only itinerary.
