RwandAir to suspend Cotonou-Brazzaville route

RwandAir has confirmed that it will suspend its Cotonou to Brazzaville route, effective 9 April, until further notice.

On the same day, the airline will, however, reinstate the Libreville to Douala route, where the flights will be departing from the Cotonou hub, three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights will depart Cotonou at 15h30, arriving in Libreville at 17h10. From Libreville flights will depart at 17h55, arriving in Douala at 18h55. The return service will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays departing Douala at 09h30, arriving in Libreville at 10h30. From Libreville flights will depart at 11h30, arriving in Cotonou at 13h10.

In a statement released by the airline it said that the reinstatment of the flights will offer passengers travelling between Cotonou, Douala and Libreville with greater options as the airline has three existing flights between these destinations.

Starting on 16 May, the airline will also introduce its Kigali-Harare-Cape Town route.The flights between Harare and Cape Town will operate four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The outbound flight will depart Harare at 11h45 and arrive in Cape Town at 14h45. The inbound flight will depart Cape Town at 16h00 and arrive back in Harare at 19h00.
