South African low cost carrier, kulula, has announced that it is now offering passengers the ability to purchase items from the inflight menu by using their debit or credit cards.
In a post on the airline’s Facebook page it said that with the introduction of cashless payments, passengers will have less hassles and more convenience when buying their onboard treats.
The move, however, also means that the airline will no longer accept cash payments for any purchases.
The airline is also still running its ‘Face on a plane’ competition, where members of the public can enter to have their face on one of kulula’s planes. For more details and entry information click here.
