According to trade Union Solidarity, Mango Airlines has tabled a new wage offer which it has submitted to its members in an effort to put an end to strike action by the airline’s pilots.
Solidarity’s Deon Reyneke confirmed that that the employer has made a new salary offer to pilots as well as other crew staff. He also said that they have sent a letter to airline’s management on what they agree to keep.
“We hope to settle the deal before this afternoon,” said Reyneke.
The strike which started at 05h00 on Monday morning has seen Mango making use of SAA management pilots, some flight delays flights and the rescheduling others.
